Food Processing

From slicing and portioning to packaging integration — food-safe, high-performance machine knives engineered for continuous production. FDA / EU compliant materials.

Food-grade slicer, dicing and packaging knives for meat, cheese, bakery and fresh-cut lines — FDA / EU compliant steels, runout ≤ 0.003 mm, engineered for full shifts between regrinds.

How We Cut It

Blade Engineering for This Industry

NavBlade supplies food-grade machine knives for every cutting stage on the processing line — high-speed slicing, dicing, portioning, stripping and the cutters integrated into VFFS packaging machines. Blades are ground from 420, 440C and 14-4CrMo stainless steels with mirror-polished edges; ceramic and coated variants are available for corrosive washdown environments.

Runout is held to ≤ 0.003 mm on high-speed slicer circles so portions stay consistent for a full shift between regrinds. All food-contact materials meet USDA and FDA (and EU 1935/2004) requirements, and every blade ships with a material and heat-treatment certificate on request.

Typical Applications

  • High-speed slicing of meat, cheese and bakery products
  • Fresh-cut fruit and vegetable dicing and stripping
  • Portioning and guillotine cutting of bars and blocks
  • VFFS / HFFS packaging-line cutters and tear-notch knives
  • Edge regrinding service to food-grade finish
