Blade Engineering for This Industry
Plastics punish the wrong blade: soft polymers chew, rigid ones crack, and friction heat melts the cut edge back together. We grind knife geometries specific to the polymer — shear angles for PP and PE film, fine-tooth profiles for rigid PVC and acrylic, and high-rake granulator knives for injection-molded scrap.
Materials are selected to resist heat and abrasion: D2 and M2 as workhorses, tungsten carbide for glass-filled and mineral-filled compounds where a steel edge rounds within hours. We supply OEM machine builders and end users alike, matching knives to your material, throughput and cut quality target.
